Students can attain vocational certificates through ADi at their local school! VET In Schools programs introduce vocational training, practical learning and holistic dance education to students. Vocational certificates in dance are professional qualifications that lead to further qualifications and career opportunities in the dance industry.

As a registered training organisation, ADi offers subjects in Classical, Jazz ,Tap and Contemporary by completing two levels from an ADi endorsed syllabus or mapped syllabus certificate. Students are eligible to receive the Certificates in Dance on completion of the academic components.  These may count towards their secondary School Certificate points [dependend on state education department rulings]

Contact the office for latest information regarding each state, since recognition varies between states.

The ADi system is a quality assurance process incorporating official Australian government dance teaching and training standards which are specifically contextualised by ADi to the dance style and student age/ability.

In addition, the ADi process covers continuous improvement in all aspects of the teaching environment from teacher qualifications and syllabus content (via RPL to dance society syllabus) within the dance school including:

  • Periodic professional development by the dance teacher
  • Periodic review and endorsement of syllabus used by teachers

ADi Certificates I-IV in Dance

Did you know your daughter or son could be working towards broader professional qualifications in dance while enjoying learning at his/her current studio/school?

ADi implements vocational courses in dance for studio based students. We are a leading registered training organisation, a government regulated provider of vocational education and training (VET), uniquely dedicated to dancers and teachers.  We are operated by dance teachers - for dance teachers and their students.

For young students, we deliver training for Certificates I,  II, III  and IV in Dance. The 'academic" components of our courses are delivered by distance learning.
"Technical" training of dance techniques are provided through ADi recognised dance society syllabus.

Additionally, dance syllabus from most major dance societies are being systematically "mapped" by ADi to the national competencies for technical elements.
Enquire to see whether your dance school's  syllabus can count towards a formal qualification, supplemented with an ADi academic training package.
ADi can provide §"gap" training where a shortfall exists. All "academic" competencies can be attained as distance learning home based work direcly enrolled with ADi.
